About RSS News Feeds?
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a service that enables you to stay up to date with news and feature articles from all your favourite sites without the hassle of having to click from site to site on a regular basis to check for updates. Simply select the type of content you are interested in and have it delivered directly to you.
How can I use RSS?
In order to be able to start using RSS you will need a news reader. All news readers enable you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.
After choosing a news reader, all you have to do is to decide on the content you want. If you would like the latest QuickCompare financial news stories, simply visit the Financial News section and select the RSS button on the right hand side of the news category titles.
How do I get a News Reader?
There are many different types, some are web based and accessed using a browser, some browsers have news reader functionality built into them and some news readers are downloadable applications.
You simply have to choose which type of news reader is most suitable for you. In the case of downloadable news readers you will need to check that the news reader is compatible with your operating system.
Can I use these feeds on my site?
You are more than welcome to use QuickCompare RSS news feeds as part of a website. However, we do require that you recognise the news as being provided by QuickCompare and place a link to our site from the news section.
